YOUNG baseball player Damian le Roux is included in the South African team which will participate at the U/12 World Baseball Cup in Taiwan from the 26th of July to the 4th of August.
Damian has been selected as the SA catcher. The SA U/12 team will face Fiji Baseball Federation in their first game.
Dennis Transell, Mandela-Bay Baseball (MBA) chairman said, “We are very proud of Damian and all the juniors that participated at the SA national tournament. For him being included in the national team is a stepping stone in the right direction for baseball in the Eastern Cape province. We wish Damian all of the best.”
Damian is a learner at Laerskool Hand-haaf in Uitenhage.
