Sharing in the excitement of being a new homeowner, agents of RE/MAX Above and Beyond Uitenhage, have delivered cakes to the last 70 new home owners who have successfully dealt with the property group.
Les Olivier, one of the owners of RE/MAX Above and Beyond Uitenhage said that the cake deliveries were done as a gesture welcoming their clients into their new homes.
“The idiomatic proverb goes ‘you can’t eat your cake and have it’, but we at RE/MAX tend to bend the phrase a bit because what seems impossible can happen with us,” said Olivier.
“We entered the local market two years ago and since then we have grown from strength to strength. Our energetic agents literally take the cake!”
Antonio Seconds, property agent at RE/MAX Above and Beyond Uitenhage said the interest in properties in Uitenhage is growing.
“The latest trend we are experiencing is residents changing suburbs. We are experiencing a growing demand of home owners who are opting for larger properties in town, being closer to schools or their place of employment.
“These clients are selling their smaller properties and upgrading by buying more expensive properties in the suburbs.”
Seconds said this growing market has opened the door to more agents and this in turn resulted in raising the bar in terms of competitiveness and professionalism.
“Although we do not have major investments in Uitenhage, I would say that the residential market is developing continuously in its own way.
“There definitely is a huge need for the middle market and townhouse developments in the region and this is an opportunity for developers,” said Seconds.
