Wildsfees: galaxy of stars on EC’s largest stage

MORE than 30 of the country’s top stars and local artists will be going wild in the Karoo on the Eastern Cape’s biggest and best outdoor stage over the weekend of the SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees.


MORE than 30 of the country’s top stars and local artists will be going wild in the Karoo on the Eastern Cape’s biggest and best outdoor stage over the weekend of the SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees.

The family festival runs from Friday, June 29 to Sunday, July 1.

During the weekend of fun and action Chezanne will be the first on the Adventure Province Main Stage at 16:00 on Friday, June 29, followed by JJ Botha, Caroline Grace, Fatman, Adam, Lianie May, Jay and Snotkop.

In another festival first Locnville will be in the Lagerville beer tent for the after party.

Leading up to the opening of the main Adventure Province stage The Sensationals, Rob and Ferdi and Alex Cavan will be entertaining festival goers in the kykNET Leefstyl Plein.

On Saturday the live entertainment starts with Alex Cavan in the Flavourfontein Beach Bar, which will also host an after party with Jan Bloukaas and Dirk van der Westhuizen.

First on the Adventure Province Main Stage will be Lollos & Lettie to entertain the young and young at heart.

The will be followed by Michael Lindt, Thys die Bosveldklong, Dirk van der Westhuizen, Tussen Sterre, Leah, Joe Foster, Jakkie Louw, Nadine, Jan Bloukaas, and Kurt Darren, with festival favourites Dr Victor & The Rasta Rebels playing the night out.

Bay City Rockers will be entertaining lovers of fine wine and food in the kykNET Leefstyl Plein before the action starts on the main stage.

On Sunday Lollos & Lettie will once again start the music pumping on the main stage, followed by Die Baaienaars, Koos Kombuis, Blackie Swart, Laurika Rauch and Adam Tas, who will be on stage from two in the afternoon.

In the Coca-Cola fun zone there will be demonstrations of rhythmic gymnastics by Psyko Souljahz Kids, a drumming demonstration and workshop, and a juggling demonstration and workshop.
