KAROO CHOICE is a brand new and one-of-its-kind venison and ostrich meat products retail store opening its doors in Uitenhage tomorrow (Friday, June 1st).
It offers the public a wide range of meat pro-ducts at affordable prices. A variety of these products will be on promotion with special prizes during the grand-opening days of tomorrow and Saturday.
For the past eight years, Aloe Meats Venison & Ostrich Abattoir, situated in Kruisrivier Industrial Area, has been delivering quality venison and ostrich meat to wholesalers across the country.
CEO JJ Oosthuizen said, “With the opening of this store we adhere to the public’s requests. For long we have been asked when we are going to open a retail store. Well, the day has come and now the public can also enjoy our amazing healthy, natural and free-range venison and ostrich meat products.”
Visiting Karoo Choice, which is situated in Bell Street, Kruisrivier, store manager Coenie Steenkamp will assist customers. He knows the meat industry and its products and will thus best advise customers on what will be the ideal choice of meat to suit their catering needs, whether for a braai, special occasion or even a gift hamper.
“It is important to note that all our products are approved by our own registered venison and ostrich abattoir, Aloe Meats, which complies with all the industry’s rules and regulations,” said JJ.
Product range
Karoo Choice’s product range include steaks, wors, biltong, dry wors, goulash, sosaties, mince and burger patties. Bulk-buying is also possible at the store.
Karoo Choice has its own free range organic pet treats product range, Yummies Pet Treats, which are manufactured at the company’s pet treat factory. The Yummies Pet Treats have proved to be loved by four legged friends all over the country and include products like pet treats, frozen raw treats and bones.
