ALGOA Rally Club roared into action last weekend with the first round of the 2019 Stu Davidson & Son Rally race season.
Daniel Pienaar THS, the only school in South Africa participating in rally, entered its two cars as they have done in the past.
The drivers are both novices and found the rally taxing. Michail Ellis finished first in the S5 class and Jeandre Greeff was placed seventh in the S1 class.
The fact that 18 of the 21 starters managed to complete the rally speaks volumes about the difficulty of the 6 stages. The two DP racers were amongst the 18 who have completed all the stages.
