THE Rotary Anns of Uitenhage South are asking the public for any wool they don’t need.
“Any type of wool, even bits and pieces can be used to stitch blanket squares together,” said knitting co-ordinator, Shelley Hopley.
Together with active members of the community the Anns knit jerseys, beanies, blankets and teddies. These are distributed to those in need throughout the Uitenhage area.
Drop off points
The wool can be dropped off at MSC Business College, above Capitec Bank on Caledon Street or it can be collected by calling Beverley Doria 083 564 6419. Wool can alternatively also be dropped off at the UD Express office at 74A Graaff Reinet Road.
The Anns wish to thank all their knitters for their contribution to this worthy cause.
