THE proposed aquaculture development or fish farming in Algoa Bay, approximately 2km offshore right in front of the popular Pipe Beach in Port Elizabeth, is on the table again.
The public are invited to attend a pre-application phase meeting with regard to the proposed project. The objective of the meeting is to provide an overview of the proposed sea-based Aquaculture Development Zone (ADZ) in Algoa Bay. It is also to present the preliminary results of the environmental impact assessment.
The public meeting will be on March 6th from 18:00-20:30 at the PE City Hall (auditorium).
