Nelson Mandela Bay ratepayers are invited to say their say as part of the public participation and comments process regarding the reviewed property rates policy for the 2018/2019 financial year.
Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality has reviewed its property rates policy and has embarked on a public participation process through the municipality’s annual budget process in terms of sections 22 and 23 of the Municipal Finance Management Act.
The reviewed property rates policy for the 2018/19 financial year will be available for inspection during normal office hours at all municipality customer care centres, as well as at the IDP Office, ground floor, Noninzi Luzipho Building, cnr Whites Road and Baakens Street, Port Elizabeth, or visit www.nelsonmandelabay.gov.za to view the policy document online.
Comments on the reviewed Property Rates Policy may be hand delivered to the IDP office, which is situated in the Noninzi Luzipho Building, cnr Whites Road and Baakens Street, Port Elizabeth or emailed to idpoffice@mandelametro.gov.za. All comments must be submitted by no later than 18 May 2018.
