LOCAL communities are invited to participate in the affairs of the municipality and have their say by attending meetings to be held in the preparation, implementation and reviewing of its Integrated Development Plan.
During the period from Monday, 8 April to Wednesday, 17 April the municipality will be conducting a series of public meetings on its 2019 Integrated Development Plan (IDP), Budget, Municipal Spatial Development Framework (MSDF) and Annual Report.
These public consultations will be led by the executive mayor and the mayoral committee.
Residents are also invited to provide comments on the IDP and MSDF via the municipal website at www.nelsonmandelabay.gov.za
- The local meetings (18:00-20:00) will be as follows: Tuesday, April 9th, Allanridge Community Hall, Wards 48, 49, 50, 51, 53 and portion of 45 including La Plant; Wednesday, April 10th, Babs Madlakane Hall, Wards 45, 46 & 47; Monday, April 15th (13:00-15:00), special sectors, Uitenhage Town Hall; Monday, April 15th (18:00-20:00), portion of Ward 41, 52 and 53 (Azalea Park), Despatch Town Hall.
