TWO long-standing institutions in Uitenhage, VW Market Square and Muir College, support each other.

Muir bought two vehicles from the dealership, whilst the latter sponsored the school with sport related items.

“We appreciate the involvement of VW Market Square Uitenhage with Muir College and we have a good understanding with each other as two of the long-standing institutions in town,” said Robin Stephenson, Muir College headmaster.

VW Market Square has sponsored a bill board next to the school’s sports field, sold the VW 23-seater bus as well as an admin vehicle at reasonable prices to the school and recently sponsored body warmers to the rugby coaching staff.

“As two of the oldest institutions in Uitenhage, the relationship I think will be a good one going forth,” said Martin Barnard, VW Market Square Uitenhage: dealer principal.

The bus will embark on its first long distance trip to Cape Town, where Muir’s first rugby team will participate in a rugby tournament.

“We are proud to be associated with VW Market Square and will wear our body warmers with pride,” said Stephenson.
