THE South African Police Service in the Uitenhage Cluster are glad to report that they have found the missing Shareen Jantjies (13) from Khayamnandi, Despatch.
It was reported in last week’s UD
Express that Shareen Jantjies was officially reported missing by her mother on Wednesday, 17 October 2018, after she failed to return home on Sunday, 14 October 2018. It is alleged that she and another friend visited a tavern in Khayamnandi and left the premises with unknown males.
According to police spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart, “details about her whereabouts during the period that she went missing are vague.
“Police are investigating and following up on the information provided.”
