ROVER Motorcycle Club will be hosting Motocross Round 1 Pre-National, sponsored by Cannabis Energy Drink on Saturday.
Racing starts around 10:00 with practice starting at 08:30.
This event is the first of the MX series for 2019 in Port Elizabeth at Rover Motorcycle Club.
Riders from all over the country will be participating in the pre-national as the prelude to the 2019 TRP Distributors South African National Motocross Championship race on February 23rd.
The total prize money in Saturday’s race is R30 000 to riders in 1st, 2nd 3rd place in all classes.
Top riders from Rover MCC to be on the lookout for include Andrew Wren, André Swart, Craig Kruger and Tristan Stevens. Among the junior top riders are Liam Botha, Kyle Joosten, Seth van der Walt, Luke Krull, Adriaan van Jaarsveld, Aiden Retief and Luca Delport.
Spectator entry fee is R30 per person and children under 12 years of age may entry free of charge.
