THERE are thousands of credit providers in South Africa. Each of these firms needs to have the ability to facilitate debt review for its clients.
The results in the 2018 The Debt Review, an industry wide peer review, reveal which firms are rated well by their peers within the industry in various categories.
Companies review the performance of those on the opposite side of the industry and are tabulated to find out who was the most highly rated.
This year debt counsellors took the time (30 minutes on average) to review and rate credit provider debt review departments. There were 5 different debt counsellor categories: Boutique, Small, Medium, Large and National.
Shaun Zeelie from Master Your Money, a Uitenhage based debt councillor situated at 34 Mosel Road, was nominated as one of the top 5 debt councillors in the category for Small Debt Councillor businesses.
