The Uitenhage Lions Club cordially invites senior citizens to its 32nd annual Senior Citizens’ Christmas Lunch which will be held at the Despatch Town Hall on Saturday, October 19th.
The service is provided to the elderly (over the age of 65 years) free of charge as a form of appreciation for their contribution to the advancement of the Uitenhage and Despatch communities during their economically active years.
The lunch (from 11:00 to 14:00) includes a three course meal with entertainment provided by the Lake Farm music band.
All those wishing to attend the event are requested to plan their day accordingly to ensure that duties associated with regular Saturday afternoons and transports to/from the event, which will be in Despatch, are arranged timeously.
There are limited seats for 180 seniors, thus booking is essential and first come will be first served.
