A first-of-its-kind kite flying competition will be held at the Uitenhage Market at Willow Dam on Sunday from 09:00 to 14:00.
All who have kites and who would like to join in the fun are invited to participate.
Other activities of the day include live performances by Monique Marais and friends as well as fun and games for the kids. There will be a variety of new stalls at Sunday’s market.
The Uitenhage Market supports the Uitenhage SPCA as well as Lake Farm. The public are requested to bring along donations of second hand clothing and blankets which can be dropped off at a collection point at the market day.
