The start of the festive season in Kariega was known for decades for its popular Noddy & Friends Christmas Party hosted by the Uitenhage Lions Club.
This year will be no different, except that the fun and games for all, the young and young at heart, will no longer be hosted by the Lions, but St Marks Congregational Church, on Friday, 25 November and Saturday, 26 November from 18:00 to 20:00.
Parents are invited to bring their kids (11 years and younger) to meet Noddy, Big Ears, Mr Plod, Gobbo the Goblin, Shrek, Pink Panther, Tinkerbell, Father Christmas and many other animation characters.
The cost is R70 per child per event and it includes entertainment, plus a party pack with snacks. All Christmas gifts must be supplied by the parents and clearly marked with each child’s name.
The Noddy & Friends Christmas Party will be held at the Daniel Pienaar Technical High School’s B-rugby field and there will be boerewors rolls and cold drinks on sale.
