SAPS Uitenhage detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 26-year-old man who went missing on Monday, January 1.


SAPS Uitenhage detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 26-year-old man who went missing on Monday, January 1.

According to police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, it is alleged that Andisiwe Dlamini was dropped off at Midlands College on High Street, Uitenhage, by his father. 

” He never returned home. His is father made enquiries at the college where he was informed that Andisiwe left the college at approximately 11:00,” said Janse Van Rensburg.

“Enquiries were made with family and friends where he frequently visited, but they were unable to trace him and on Thursday, February1, he was reported missing at SAPS Uitenhage,” she said. 

“At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a green jacket, grey trousers with sandals.”  

Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in the tracing of Andisiwe Dlamina to contact SAPS Uitenhage D/WO Jerome Niekerk on 041994500 / 0842000455 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
