Despatch Preparatory has driven a young girl’s sanitary product campaign over the last two months. This was done in support of the Red Belt Movement, that is compiling “Bags for life” for 600 young ladies.

This social impact charity has pledged to support schools in the poverty-stricken Rocklands area. These kits include many hygiene products that are needed during a girl’s menstruation.

Many girls cannot afford these products. During this time, they will not attend school and lose valuable education time.

Despatch Preparatory has incorporated this initiative as part of their “girl’s education” program. The school’s principal, Madeléne Sachse, has made it a mission of the institution to focus on uplifting and supporting the community.

  • For any further information on how to support the school with regard to the Red Belt Movement contact Madeléne Sachse on 041 933 2544 or Nicole Mohamed from Red Belt Movement at admin@redbeltmovement.com
