DETECTIVES from the Despatch police are seeking the community’s assistance to help trace the next of kin of an unknown male whose body was found in the bushes next to the railway line in Azalea Park.
His body was found last Saturday, February 16th at about 20:30.
The unknown male, suspected to be in his 40s, was found with a pair of brown trousers lying next to him. Circumstances surrounding his death are unknown.
An inquest docket was opened.

Skeleton next to road
In another incident, a skeleton was found next to the R75 road, opposite Joe Slovo near Despatch.
The discovery was made by community members and the skeleton is believed to be that of a male.
The unidentified male was clothed with navy trousers, light blue jacket and a yellow and beige T-shirt.
