STUDENTS from The Ballet Studio in Uitenhage took part in the Royal Academy of Dance’s annual ballet exam. Among them were seven adults.
The students, under direction of teacher Anneke van der Smit, include 16 children between the ages 7-10 years.
Six adults did their Grade 5 Solo Performance Award whilst one dancer, Michaela Foxcroft, did the Advanced Foundation examination.
“We are awaiting their results. And are looking forward to participate in the forthcoming Friendly City Dance Festival which will be held in August this year,” said Anneke van der Smit.
